The "Masters" are the best assassins in the business. But Hikaru Gero, heir to the Gero clan of Poison Masters, is a cut above, even by their standards. Operating in the criminal underworld has left no room for women in his life, and he's always assumed marriage was for other people. But then his grandmother, the current head of the clan, demands that his sister, Akari, produce an heir to carry on the Poison Master bloodline. Now determined to marry to protect his sister, Hikaru Gero makes a shocking proposal to Mei Kinosaki, an expert marriage swindler he's been hired to kill. And so, the curtain rises on the bizarre duo's mission to find the assassin a bride.
